• DAY
  1

  Delhi – Haridwar (230kms/5 Hrs)

  

  Scheduled arrive Delhi Airport / Railway station, meet our representative and depart for Haridwar is one of the holiest places to Hindu where Kumbh Mela being celebrated every 03 years in one of the 04 places. Upon arrival check into hotel. After fresh up enjoy half day city tour of Haridwar including Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Temple, Shanti Kunj and Har ki Puari Ghat. In the evening witness Ganges Aarti along the river Ganges at Har ki Pauri Ghat. Back to Hotel.

  2

  Haridwar to Barkot (210kms/7-8hrs drive) HT : 1352 MTS. (B,D)

  

  Post morning breakfast check out and depart for Barkot via Mussoorie. Enroute enjoy sight-seeing of Gun Hill, Camel back Road, Mall Road, Kempty Fall (Suggested to take your lunch at Mussoorie as further no good restaurants are available before Barkot). Later drive straight to Barkot, transfer to your Hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the hill yatra of Yamunotri the next day.

  3

  Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)} HT : 3291 MTS. (B,D)

  

  Early morning drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, trek start from here to Yamunotri (6kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli (at own cost). The trek passes through lush green valley, a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti and several species of Himalayan shrubs.ArriveYamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”. Here near the temple “Pooja” can be offered to Divya Shila. After taking bath in Jamunabai Kund’s warm water and having “Darshan” of pious “Yamunaji” return to Jankichatti. Return back to Barkot.

  4

  Barkot to Uttarkashi (100kms/4hrs drive) HT:1352 MTS (B,D)

  

  After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. Check into the hotel. Vishwanath temple – Vishwanath temple is one of the oldest Shiva temples in Northern India. Re-constructed in 1857 by Maharani Khaneti Devi of Tehri State in the ancient architectural style. It is situated at the heart of the town. Shakti temple islocated right in front of the Vishwanath temple.

  5

  Uttarkashi to Gangotri to Uttarkashi (100kms/3-4 each side) HT : 3048 MTS (B,D)

  

  Early morning (packed breakfast) drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its natural beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees and mountains. On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later drive back to Uttarkashi.

  6

  Uttarkashi/Haridwar (185 kms/ 5 hrs drive) (B,D)

  

  After breakfast drive to Haridwar. Check into hotel. Later in the evening witness the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

  7

  Haridwar/Rishikesh/Haridwar (20 kms, 30 min drive one way) (B,D)

  

  After breakfast visit Mansa Devi temple, Bharat Mata temple, Maya Devi temple. Later drive to Rishikesh. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is a city often called the “Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas,” renowned for being a major yoga centre all around the globe. Rishikesh is famous for the Beatles Ashram or ChaurasiKuti, where the band stayed and wrote songs. Rishikesh is also known for ashrams like the Omkarananda Ashram, Andhra Ashram and Madhuban Ashram. Visit Laxman temple, Ram Jhula, Swargashram temple, Triveni Ghat. Later drive to Haridwar.

  8

  Delhi (200Kms, 4 Hrs drive)

  

  After breakfast check out and scheduled transfer to Delhi Airport to board the train for onward destination.
  
  Tour ends with happy memories.
