    Arrive Chennai

    After scheduled arrival in Chennai airport, our representative will escort you to the designated hotel. Embark on half day city’s tour and visit places like Fort St George, St Thomas Mount, Kapaleeswar Temple and Marina Beach.

    Chennai - Thiruthani - Tirupati (180 Kms)

    Post breakfast in the hotel drive down to Thiruthani – famous for Murugan temple. This Hindu temple, located in the hill of Thiruthani, is dedicated to Lord Muruga. The hill has 365 steps indicating 365 days of the year. Later, drive to Tirupati, which is famous for Temple of Lord Venkateshwara. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up step out for ‘Darshan’ of Balaji.

    Get back to hotel by night and stay there overnight.

    Tirupati - Vellore - Thiruvannamalai (200 Kms)

    Have breakfast in the hotel and drive down to Vellore. One of the oldest cities in South India, it lies on the banks of the Palar river. Visit Vellore Fort, Sripuram Golden Temple and Ratnagiri Temple. Head towards Thiruvannamalai, which is home to Annamalaiyar Temple. Located at the foot of Annamalai hill, it is amongst one of the great Shiva Temples of Tamil Nadu. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, visit Annamalaiyar Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it was built between the 9th and the 10th centuries by Chola kings of the Tamil empire.

    Thiruvannamalai - Bangalore (230 Kms)

    After breakfast in the hotel drive towards Bangalore. Check into a hotel upon arrival in the afternoon. After freshen up, explore ‘The Garden City’ and visit Vidhan Sabha. Built in 1954, it is one of the major centres of attraction in Bangalore. The architecture of the building is based on Neo Dravidian style. It presently houses Legislative Assembly of Karnataka state. Later, visit Lal Bagh Botanical Garden. It has been termed Lal Bagh after wonderfully bloomed red roses that bloom here throughout the year. The garden also has a collection of famous Botanical species. Also, visit Bangalore Palace, which was built in 1887. It is a must see tourist spot in Bangalore.

    Bangalore-Mysore (140 Kms)

    Post breakfast in the hotel drive down to Mysore, the second largest city in Karnataka. It is famous for Dasehra Festival held in October. Till 1947, Mysore was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore and was ruled by the Wodeyar Dynasty. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, visit Chamundeshwari temple atop Chamundi Hills, followed by a visit to Mysore Palace. Built in 1912, the Palace is on the lines of Indo-Saracenic style. This palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched. The Golden Royal Elephant Throne, Durbar Hall, Kalyana Mandap and Gallery are the main attractions here.

    Post breakfast in the hotel drive down to Ooty, which is a popular hill station located in Nilgiri Hills. Its official Tamil name is Udhagamandalam.     Post breakfast in the hotel head towards Guruvayur. Check into a hotel upon arrival. Visit Guruvayur Shri Krishna Temple in afternoon. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna followed by a visit to Mammiyoor temple. Spend rest of the time in leisure activities.

    After breakfast in the hotel drive towards Cochin. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, step out for half day sightseeing tour of Cochin and visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net and Indo-Portuguese Museum. Enjoy Kathakali dance performance in evening.

Do not miss melodious twittering of birds, scenic waterfall and sun-set from the houseboat.

    Alleppey-Kanyakumari (290 Kms)

    After breakfast in the hotel drive towards Kanyakumari, located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula. It is the confluence of three large oceans viz Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. It is one the best tourist destination in India and has been gaining importance due to its enchanting natural beauty and seashore. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, visit Kanyakumari Temple – dedicated to Kanyakumari, the manifestation of the universal mother as a young maiden bride. It will be followed by visit to Vivekananda Rock Memorial by ferry boat ride and Gandhi Mandapam. It was built to honour one of the greatest Indian leaders, Mahatma Gandhi.

    Drive to Kovalam during evening and overnight stay at the hotel.

    Kanyakumari - Rameshwaram (310 Kms)

    After breakfast in the hotel proceed towards Rameshwaram. It is an important pilgrim tourist destination, equivalent to Benaras (Varanasi). The presiding deity here is in the form of ‘Linga’, known as Sri Ramanathaswamy’s temple. It is one of the twelve jyotirlingas in India. The major attraction of the temple is its 1219 metre pillared corridor made from 3.6 metre high granite pillars, intricately carved and well proportionate. Sri Ramanathswamy temple, Sita Kund and Rama’s bridge among other places are also a must visit.

    Rameshwaram - Madurai (180 Kms)

    After breakfast drive towards Madurai. Check into hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, explore this 2,600 year old famous temple town of South India. Check into a hotel upon arrival. Visit famous Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam (Great Tank) and Palace of Tirumalai Nayak in afternoon. Revisit Meenakshi Temple for a prayer ceremony in evening.

    Post breakfast in the hotel drive towards Trichy. Visit Rock Fort, Sri Ranganathaswamy and Jambukeshwara Temples upon arrival in Trichy. Continue drive towards Tanjore. Check into a hotel upon arrival and spend rest of the day in leisure activities.

    Post breakfast in the hotel explore Tanjore – once the capital of the Cholas. Tanjore is popular for its temples and paintings. Visit famous Brihadeeswarar temple housing a huge Shiva lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi bull. Later drive towards Velankanni. Check into a hotel upon arrival. After freshen up, explore this town.

    Visit significant places such as Shrine of Virgin Mary which is dedicated to ‘the Madonna of Velankanni’, often called ‘Our Lady of Health’. Do visit Vailankanni Beach, Our Lady’s Tank, Church Museum, Priests’ Residence, Offering Center and Stations of the Cross.
