Arrive Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International airport our representative will escort you to the designated hotel. Roam around the city in evening.

Kathmandu
Proceed for sightseeing after breakfast. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath, Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath.
Swayambhunath is one of the world’s most glorious Buddhist chaityas. It is said to be 2000 years old formation. The ‘watchful’ eyes of Lord Buddha are painted on the four sides of the base of this structure. It is a famous World Heritage Site offering a magnificent view of Kathmandu Valley.
Next, head towards Kathmandu Durbar Square to see Taleju Temple, built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 AD; Kal Bhairav, the god of destruction; Nautale Durbar; Nasal Chowk; Gaddi Baithak; the statue of King Pratap Malla and Jagannath.
Pashupatinath, situated 5 km east of Kathmandu, is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Pathupatinath with its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors is considered one of the holiest Hindu shrines.
Later, visit Boudhanath, which lies 3 k east of Pashupati. This ancient colossal Buddhist stupa is one of the biggest stupas in the world. It has been listed as the UNESCO Heritage Monument in 1979.

Kathmandu – Pokhara
Drive towards Pokhara after having breakfast early morning. Check into a hotel upon arrival. Proceed for half-day sightseeing and visit World Peace Pagoda late afternoon. Go for boating in Fewa Lake during evening.

Pokhara
Start sightseeing of Pokhara Valley after breakfast. Visit Seti Gorge, Bindabasini Temple, Gupteshwar cave and Davi’s Falls. Bindabasini Temple is the centre of religious activity in the Old Bazaar. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, the manifestation of Shakti. The grounds outside is used as a perfect picnic spot. Festivities galore on Saturdays and Tuesdays when devotees flock there to offer sacrifices.
Flowing right through the city, the boisterous river Seti Gorge runs completely underground at many places. Amazingly, at certain points the river appears hardly two meters wide. Its depth is unfathomable – over 20 meters! Mahendra Pul, a small bridge near the old Mission Hospital, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by its powerful flow.
Gupteswar Cave is a sacred cave located near Devi’s Fall. The cave is almost three kilometres long. It has some big hall-size rooms and some passages. This cave holds special place among Hindus since phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in its original form. Clicking pictures inside the cave is prohibited.
Devi’s Fall, locally known as Patale Chhango, is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. It is also known as Devil’s, Devin’s or David’s Fall. Legend has it that a trekker (named Devin or David) was washed away by Pardi Khola and disappeared down into an underground passage beneath the fall.

Pokhara-Tansen (Palpa)
Visit mountain view point – Sarangkot- early morning. Later, get back to hotel. Sarangkot (1,592 mt), a former Kaski fort, lying atop a hill, lies 5 km west to the Old Bazaar; Kahundanda (1,520 mt), to the north-east of Pokhara, which has a ruined fort on the summit as well as a view tower. Sarangkot offers a superb panoramic view of the Himalayas.
Drive towards Tansen, 130 km, 3-4 hours, post breakfast. Siddhartha Highway offers excellent scenery along the highway. Check into a hotel and have lunch. Step out for sightseeing tour of important places and watch sunset over Himalaya. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Tansen Bazaar, the headquarters of Palpa district, is a fascinating centre from historical, cultural, religious, geographical, natural and tourism view point. It is situated at an altitude of 1,371 meters above the sea level on the lap of picturesque Shreenagar Hill. This site had enjoyed a strategic position on trade and pilgrim route, between the hill and plains. Tansen Bazar is full of unique geographical location, amazing climate, serpentine and cobbled streets, attractive Newari buildings, Pagoda style temple shrines and stupas, typical Mahar village, fascinating as well as panoramic scenes among others.
Bhagawati Temple is located at Bhagawati Toll, Tansen-8 near the Tansen Durbar. It was built by Uhjir Singh Thapa in Pagoda style in 1814 AD to commemorate the Nepali victory over colonial British-India forces. It is the pilgrimage of Palpalis. This site has undergone many physical adjustments. Huge stone statues of lions, eight armed statue of Bhagawati, artistic stone sculptures, Shivalya, grand premises and so on are major attractions of this temple.
Tansen Durbar, the palace of provincial governor, was built in the heavy-handed Rana style in 1927 AD in the heart of Tansen Bazar. The imposing entrance gate on the eastern side of the compound is believed to be the biggest and tallest gate in Asia. Shree Nagar Hill, a picturesque and tourist resort, offers fascinating scenes, including snow-capped mountains, panoramic view of Tansen town, evergreen forests, impressive meadows on the hill top, bowl-shaped Madi valley and splendid scenes of sunset.

Tansen (Palpa) – Lumbini
Proceed to Lumbini, 76 km, post breakfast. Check into a hotel upon arrival and start sightseeing tours for 4-5 hours. Visit Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar and Pushkarni Pond.
Lumbini – It is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, founder of Buddhism. He is also known as Buddha or the Enlightened One. This was confirmed by an inscribed pillar erected 318 years after his enlightenment by the great ancient emperor, Ashoka, who visited Lumbini in 245 BC and had left an array of inscribed pillars in the region.
Sacred Garden: It is spread over 8 square kilometre and possesses all historical treasures. It has been listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the birth place of Lord Buddha. The site is marked by Ashoka Stone Pillar which has an engraved inscription mentioning it as the birth place of Lord Buddha. On one side of the pillar lies Mayadevi Temple, the temple dedicated to mother of Lord Buddha. A stone, bearing footprints of Lord Buddha, has been found during recent excavations.
The Pushkarni Pond: This pond is located in south of the Ashokan Pillar. Queen Mayadevi, mother of Lord Buddha, is believed to have taken a bath before giving birth to Lord Buddha. Many countries have built temples, monasteries or stupas in Sacred Garden, situated in International Monastery Zone. A global initiative to promote Lumbini has been kicked off recently.
Ashoka Pillar: The pillar carrying an inscription mentioning it as the holy site, or birthplace of Lord Buddha, is situated nearby Sacred Garden. Mayadevi Temple is situated close to Ashoka Pillar. A stone, bearing footprints of Lord Buddha, has been found during recent excavations, thus confirms it a birthplace of Lord Buddha.

Lumbini – Chitwan
Proceed to Chitwan National Park post breakfast early morning. Check into a hotel upon arrival in Chitwan. Enjoy a welcome drink and learn about jungle activities through a briefing. Enjoy Tharu cultural dance followed by dinner during evening.

Chitwan – Kathmandu via Nagarkot
After having breakfast proceed to Kathmandu via Nagarkot and Bhaktapur.
Nagarkot is a hill station located 32 km east of Kathmandu. Enjoy the beautiful countryside view on your way to Nagarkot. It is a popular destination to view Himalayas, sunset and sunrise.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square is the plaza in front of the royal palace of the old Bhaktapur Kingdom. It is one of three Durbar Squares in Kathmandu, Valley in Nepal, all of them are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Bhaktapur Durbar Square is located in the present town of Bhaktapur, which lies 13 km east of Kathmandu. While the complex consists of at least four distinct squares viz Durbar Square, Taumadhi Square, Dattatreya Square and Pottery Square – the group of squares is collectively known as the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and is a must visit site in Kathmandu. -
